WHAT’S IN A NAME?
Arsonistic was born from the ashes of an old high school band Miguel used to be a part of: a group of like-minded teenagers who sought to turn their raw, untamed energy into something meaningful. At its core, the band was all about fire—burning intensity and raw expression. The music was loud and chaotic, but undeniably real.
But as time went on, the band left their separate ways. Yet the fire inside never left Miguel, as he always believed that fire wasn’t something to be feared. It was something to harness, create, and even rebuild.
As arson is used to describe the act of setting fire, "arsonistic" became a word to represent the process of igniting something from within, and letting it burn until it transforms into something beautiful. This philosophy became the backbone of Miguel’s new creative pursuit: filmmaking and photography.
Thus from the ashes of an old high school band, Arsonistic resurrected into a philosophy—a way of living through creation. It became the mission to take raw and chaotic energy and shape it into something meaningful and could leave an indelible mark for generations.
Through Arsonistic, Miguel wishes to spark the fires of creativity in others, igniting the passion to tell stories, share experience and connect with the world in ways that only visual storytelling can.
